Tom Neufelder
VP, Engineering for Avionics & Safety Systems

Tom Neufelder joined Avidyne in 2008 as VP of Engineering for Avionics and Safety Systems. Tom leads the engineering development teams located in Lincoln, MA, Columbus, OH and Melbourne, FL. He has over twenty years of product development experience in the healthcare, graphic arts and defense avionics industries. Before joining Avidyne, Tom spent the previous ten years at GE Healthcare where he led engineering teams responsible for ambulatory electronic medical record and revenue cycle management applications in the healthcare IT business and hemodynamic and electrophysiology patient monitoring systems in the Cardiology segment. Prior to GE, he led an engineering group developing real-time image acquisition and raster image processing systems for the pre-press industry. Prior to his work in the graphic arts industry, Tom spent seven years with Westinghouse Electric Corp (now a division of Northrop Grumman) designing avionics systems for electronic warfare and electro-optical applications.
Tom holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
