Tom is Avidyne’s Director of Marketing, responsible for media relations, tradeshows, collateral, advertising, web site, branding, and corporate marketing. Tom joined Avidyne in 1998 as a twenty-year veteran of the avionics industry, coming from AlliedSignal Electronic and Avionics Systems in Olathe, Kansas, where he served as manager of marketing communications. Tom started his career at King Radio Corporation as an electronics technician and later led the harness fabrication department at King Radio’s factory installation facility, before moving into the marketing department as their director of Advertising and Marketing Technical Services. He attended Missouri Institute of Technology in Kansas City studying electronics technology, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker University in Overland Park, KS. Tom is a licensed private pilot.
