Ted Lester is one of Avidyne’s Product Managers responsible for the Entegra PFD, Entegra MFD, Entegra Release 9, TAS600 Active Traffic, and TWX Tactical Weather Detection product lines. As Product Manager, he is responsible for product development and documentation along with coordinating engineering, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and service. He joined Avidyne in 2005 as a Systems Engineer and worked on both PFD and IFD development. Ted moved to the Product Management team in 2009. Ted holds a BA in Physics from Middlebury College and an SM from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Aeronautics and Astronautics. At MIT he worked at the International Center for Air Transportation (ICAT). Ted is a commercial pilot and certified flight instructor.
